Commercial Cleaner Greater Vancouver Area, Canada
BDS Facility Services is hiring Commercial Cleaners for various commercial projects in Greater Vancouver area (Vancouver, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, East Vancouver, Langley, Surrey, Delta, Burnaby and Coquitlam). The job requires travelling to different areas of the lower mainland. The ideal candidate must be fully vaccinated with proof of vaccination as required by our customers. Work Setting:
* Office building
* Commercial building
* Apartment/condominium complex
* Industrial facility or establishment
Job duties include but are not limited to:
* Cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors and vacuuming
* Cleaning building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchens etc.
* Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
* Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and windowsills
* Replenish supplies such as soaps, paper towels and toilet paper
* Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
* Sanitizing and Disinfecting all high touch point areas
Qualifications:
* Motivation and a willingness to work & learn
* Knowledge of WHMIS is considered an asset
* Experience in commercial and industrial cleaning is considered an asset
* Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
* Excellent stamina and physical health
* Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
