Fogger vs. Electrostatic Disinfection 

There are thermal and non-thermal types of fogging. 

Many fire and repair companies utilize thermal because it works wonderfully for instances involving smoke scents and circumstances. The temperature rises to between 104 and 140 degrees, depending on the machine type. This is great for odors, the same way smoke penetrates, if you smoke cigarettes or cigars in your home, these people bring in thermal foggers because you want to send out the same type of substance to grab on to the same way that the smoke damage happened, which is why it's thermal, why you heat it, it's foggy and smokey, it's good for smoke situations, it's also good for sewage situations. 

Non-thermal is on the opposite side of fogging. Simply cool, room-temperature water and a disinfectant are non-thermal. That's best if you're spraying enzymes, antibacterial treatments, mold remediation disinfectants, or antimicrobials. Therefore, if you add heat to live microbes like enzymes, it won't work and you'll kill them. 

Electrostatic, however, is a different thing. Why? 

Electrostatically positively charging the ions causes them to magnetically cling to all negatively charged surfaces, which constitute the majority of surfaces. Electrostatic application effectively creates a thin, even layer across the surfaces because it is non-thermal, still at room temperature, and yet disperses your disinfectants. And that's what makes electrostatics so cool—it contacts and captures objects that most other forces miss while forming a uniform layer around them. 

So, for instance, if I try to trigger spray my hand, this side of my hand will get wet, but if it were electrostatic, the positively charged ions will actually gravitate around, literally encircle my entire hand, all the way around. That is the distinction. Therefore, electrostatics is interesting, it has complete coverage that is even and uniform, and is currently highly well-liked.
